After months of dreaming and fantasizing about this dress and agonizing over my other dress choices… I finally followed my heart and ordered the Le Spose di Gio!
My dress!! THE dress! 
Wheeeeeee!
Not only is it the only dress that Derek and I agree on, it also happens to be our absolute favorite dress by far out of all our picks. This dress makes both of us so happy! 
And I love the way that Derek’s eyes just lit up when he saw me try it on. 
Because I’m a dork, here’s a Venn diagram that explains what my dress dilemma was. One major problem was that dress X does not exist. And the Le Spose di Gio was out of our original budget.
Derek definitely spoils me. 
But even with the dress splurge, we are still waaaaaay under what we would have paid for a NYC or NJ wedding! Thank goodness we are having a destination wedding. 
As for my multiple-dress-personality disorder, the Le Spose di Gio dress is my cure. I don’t even want to wear any other dress. I want to wear this one dress for as long as I can get away with it!!!

You are one lucky girl!!!! Since I came across that same dress it’s all I’ve dreamt and talked about - nothing else measures up!!! Everything about it is “WOW”!
When and where are you and Derek getting married? I live in the UK but Dan and I have decided to get married in South Africa where I’m from.
Unfortunately there is no way my budget will stretch to afford buying “the dress” brand new. Would you consider selling it on after your wedding? I have searched high and low trying to find someone with that style - unfortunately the only ones going are in the No. 5 range. I know it’s a lot to ask but if you could consider it then I would be sooooooooooooooooo grateful!!!

This is so strange! I was also searching for places to get this Le Spose Di Gio dress (as I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it) for less money and I am also getting married in South Africa where I am from (living in the US in Boston now).
I am not sure when either of you are getting married, but I am getting married on December 29th 2006 and would entertain the idea of buying it third hand if that would mean that I get to able to afford this gorgeous dress. I am a US size 4.
Please let me know what you think about this crazy idea.

OK, so I just bought my spose dress last night. It was between this one, an Amy Kuschell, an Anne Barge, and a Melissa Sweet (wonderful dress but crazy price). Anyway I decided, put the money down on the dress and then started surfing for pics of it. Well, here you are - with the same fantabulous dress! It looks wonderful on and I’m so happy in it. I’ve decided against the silver belt-thingy but I am definately wearing the flower. It’s a beautiful dress and feels so good. I love the flow of it - It makes me feel beautiful. So here’s to us and our wonderful matching spose di gio dresses!!!
What is the name of the dress?
I am getting married in 3 months and am in LOVE with the dress. Please, is anyone interested in selling theirs? I live in the US and tried on a sample size at a wedding store in beverly hills, ca last week and it was a perfect fit!! Unfortunately, the price wasn’t.
