Cootie Catchers

February 10th, 2006 @ 3:43 pm by Mrs. Bee

I used to make these things all the time when I was growing up. But I never knew that they were called “cootie catchers” - I called them fortune tellers.

This is a great way to get guests interacting with one another. You can write fortunes like make a toast, introduce yourself to someone you don’t know, tell a joke, etc. They can also double as favors and personalized placecards too!

What a nostalgic and fun idea!

Wow. I think this is one of the best ideas I’ve seen yet!
It’s cheap to do…
It’s fun for the guests…
It’s also a great way to get guests mingling.
I’m definitely going to pass this along to some of my million friends who are all getting married this year.

That’s IT! I’m totally failing out of school this year - why? THIS WEBSITE! LOL. Seriously though, it’s just a mountain of information here. I’m literally overwhelmed (but thankful).

Hi!

Thanks for featuring my cootie catchers on your site. I acutally personalize them for $30 so that no one has to worry about laying them out. Pretty easy - brides just print, cut and fold as many as they like.

I am also working on a new web site with lots of other designs that can be personalized. Be sure to visit Paper Notion (http://www.paper-notion.com).

Best, Caroline
