The Corpse Bride (2005)

Out of these wedding themed movies, my favorite is probably The Wedding Banquet. It’s an Ang Lee flick about a gay Chinese man who has a wonderful relationship with his live-in lover. The only problem is… his elderly parents have no idea and are pushing him to get married and have kids! Hilarity ensues when he keeps up the charade by marrying a female neighbor who needs a green card to stay in America.

You may not have heard of the movie because it’s actually a foreign flick, but it’s so hilarious and definitely worth watching!

i remember i watched the wedding banquet a long time ago. it was weird seeing an asian guy play a gay guy (or maybe he really is gay in real life..don’t know). but my FAVORITE is my best friend’s wedding. i swear to god i watched it at least 10 times. seriously. i love it.

HANDS DOWN it woud be Father of the Bride! Martain Short and Steve Martain left me in tears the first time I watched it. (and I love the house they live in! beee-you-tee-ful!)
