When I saw this bridesmaids dress layout in InStyle Weddings I went totally ga-ga!! I LOVE the idea of different dresses for different bridesmaids, but did you know they could be this gorgeous?!
I absolutely adore Thread’s bridesmaids dresses! You can get these for $375 each.
Those are beautiful, but a friend from work used thread dresses and the bridesmaids didn’t like them. the girls ranged in sizes from around a 4 to a 12 and all different heights (the tallest was around 5′9″) and the dress didn’t really flatter any of them. It has a sheer organza overlay that apparently got very wrinkled … plus, of course, the girls had to shell out more than $350 each. I think the dresses look much better in the catologue than in person.
I like the whole idea of different style dresses for individual bridesmaids.
If I were having a big wedding with more than 3 bridesmaids, more like 10 I’d pick out the bouquet colors and request they get something that matches in the same color family. Assuming this would be difficult I’d do most of the research and offer lots of choices, colors and styles to go along with the wedding colors / flowers.

I love the idea of different dresses for each bridesmaid! They look gorgous and I think it is less boring than the traditional one type of dress for everyone. When I get married I am definantely doing this and I am going to recommend it to my sister who is getting married soon!
I’ve seen this idea on many wedding shows, and think it is awesome! I would love to do it because I feel it adds a lot of personality to your wedding, but I really feel that 375$ per dress is a little costly.
