Although I had been planning to do this for a while, I finally booked our ride for the wedding from Film Cars:
Since the ceremony and reception are at the same location, we don’t really need a car. But I thought it would be fun to drive around the cab during cocktail hour and take pictures around lower Manhattan.

adorable idea! does this car come with a driver or do you have to drive it yourself?
The car comes with a driver. The old cabs were much roomier than today’s crown vic’s — I should be able to fit in the back with both of my parents, with the photographer sitting up front. The cost is quite reasonable — $400 for 4 hours.

About Me: I was born in the city of Donetsk in the former Soviet Union (now the Ukraine) and grew up in Brooklyn. Many of my parent's friends are from Russia and the Ukraine as well. We want all of our guests to have a great time and hit the dance floor so we've hired a band that can play both Russian and American music; not to mention a mean rendition of the Gypsy Kings and chair-raising hora!
