I’ve recently seen a trend with brides attaching photos of their loved ones to their bouquets. One of this week’s featured Knot brides meg&ksexton included a picture of her dog and her father in a locket on her bouquet.

I wish I had something of my grandmother’s when I walked down the aisle. She had passed away just a couple of months before I got married. I was the oldest grandchild so she never got to see any of her grandchildren get married. Having a photo of her attached to my bouquet would have been a wonderful way to remember her. She really would have loved to have been there.

the first pic in knottie meg&ksexton’s bio shows a mongrammed makeup bag - do you ladies happen to know where its from? I know I’ve seen it somewhere online and now I can’t remember for the life of me~ thanks!

I am sooo stealing this idea–I love it! We are having a destination wedding so, alas, our little doggie Oliver won’t be able to attend and its been the one element of the away wedding that was really making me sad. I’m also going to include a pic of my grandpa who passed away several years ago but I know will be there in spirit. Thanks, Mrs Bee!
