We received our first wedding present today!!!

It was completely unexpected! Not only is our wedding a whole 8 months away, the formal invitations haven’t even been sent out yet. In fact, we don’t even have a registry! Hey, I’m not complaining… It was just totally unexpected. People sure are generous.

It made us realize that despite our insistence that their presence is gift enough, some guests are going to give us presents anyway. (The nerve! ) So we thought about registering. But we had a hard time figuring out what the heck to register for… We already have everything we need to keep us happy. And our tiny, ahem, I mean “charming” Manhattan apartment is already a tight squeeze.

After some discussion, we figured out what we wanted. Here’s our registry wish list:

- Self-cleaning bathroom
- Self-cleaning kitchen
- Self-cleaning everything
- More crosstown subways
- Immediate completion of 2nd Ave subway
- Winning lottery ticket(s)
- Chefs from Taiwan Cafe (Boston), Fat Matt’s Rib Shack (Atlanta), Pho something (Paris), Wujiang Lu (Shanghai)
- Chefs from Sugiyama, Fukumatsu, Malaysia Restaurant, Daisy May’s, Shake Shack, Paul’s Place, Tabla, Amma, Chola, Dos Caminos, Big Wong, Moonhouse, La Mangeoire, El Malecon, Katsuhama, Sapporo, Sakagura, and Park Avenue Cafe (NYC)
- High metabolism pills w/ no negative side effects
- Slave that does lab experiments (for me!)
- Jessica Alba (for him!)
