My girlfriend, Sarah, did this for her wedding and it was a hit! Esp since the photos came out so colorful… afforable and easy.

I did something similar in that I did nuts instead of candies since my wedding was in November - fall themed.

We are considering this. We will have them
put candy in chinese small boxes. What would
be the cost of enough for 200 people of
white type candy?

I just finished a candy buffet for my best friend’s wedding and it was a success! Everyone realy liked the idea and the guests were able to fill up chinese takeout boxes I got (& decorated) from Uline.com at $16 for 100. BUT I want to warn everybody: DO NOT ORDER FROM JORDANALMONDS.COM!!!! I was charged for the order but it never was shipped out. And you cannot get a hold of anybody on the phone and nobody responds to your email. I am trying to get my money back but I want to make sure nobody else orders from them! Better websites are: metrocandy.com and candydirect.com. I am making this post to get the word out- spread it please! There are several complaints against this website. let me know if you have any candy buffet questions!

what size take out boxes did you use for the candy buffet? Pint or Quart. I’m having a hard time deciding.

I believe I used the pint size. And even then it was way more than I needed, but easier to decorate than if I had gone smaller. Since the take out boxes have so much more space than a bag, you have to make sure there’s enough candy to go around.

Thanks! Now I can get them ordered. I was just concerned with the size because I’m going to have different size candy and cookies on the buffet and I didn’t want the box to be too small.

Do not order any candy from hometowncandy.com

They are scammers! I never got my order and as of yet have not gotten a refund!
