honestly, i don’t like it. its like dancing the horo to “pop goes the weasle.”
non-religious folks like mr. firefly and i incorporate very few jewish aspects into the wedding — the chupa, the breaking of the glass, the kettubah and the hora. the ketubah is really the only “keeper” out of the bunch (although you can save the broken glass — i need to look into that) so i actually want it to look “jewish” rather than a random photo with hewbrew lettering …
maybe its different for more religeous people who incorporate more “jewishness” into their wedding.
