Underwater Camera Case

April 19th, 2006 @ 2:01 pm by Mrs. Bee

Mr. Bee and I went on a trip to El Nido last year - a small island and popular honeymoon destination in the Philippines. While we were there, we went on a snorkeling excursion with another couple who had the exact same digital camera I had except… they had an underwater digital camera case! They got awesome shots of sea snakes and nemo and other marine life that I couldn’t with my disposable underwater camera.

I have to get one for myself. This case from Sony for the DSC-T1 (the camera I have pictured below) is only $99 and water resistant up to 120 feet!

If you’re going to a tropical destination and plan on participating in water activities, a waterproof camera case will allow to you capture all those great underwater shots.

My bf got me a waterproof 5.0 MP digital camera (no case needed). It is the only one of its kind. Check out “Pentax Optio WP” if anyone is interested. It takes great pics too!

No you have to buy the one specific to your camera.

and remember to take video underwater, not just still shots. it’s cool to see fish and the underwater gardens alive with movement.

I read about that but I also heard it’s not completely waterproof & some people have had problems with it, so I’ve been reluctant to try it out. So worried about the camera!!
