I attended the Wedding Salon’s bridal event at Gotham Hall with Miss Caterpillar yesterday. Somehow I ended up on the VIP list which means you get an All Clad frying pan in addition to the gift bag! The gift bag alone, valued at over $500, made attending the event worth it. Unfortunately they only give one per couple.
There was a great energetic vibe to the show - different bands played throughout the night, and refreshments and hors’ douvres were served. There were also a good mix of vendors - not the usual photographers galore you see at most shows.
Invitations from Rock Paper Scissors. Absolutely gorgeous and original.
Sample tables set up in collaboration with various wedding planners, floral designers, etc.
This one was gorgeous.
Over-the-top crazy with faberge eggs as favors.
I love this chuppah! Is it wrong to want one even if you’re not Jewish? They’re just so beautiful.
This is a $100,000 dress.
Bernard Maisner Calligraphy - the most intricately formal and detailed calligraphy. He makes it look so easy!
Some samples of his work (click to enlarge)
He was giving out samples so Miss Caterpillar got one.
Prada perfumes was one of the vendors present. They were promoting these engravable perfume bottles as bridesmaids gifts.
We ended the evening with Miss Caterpillar getting her hair done at the Allure Beauty Suite. I thought it looked pretty nice, but it was the kinda do that would easily fall apart - which it did during dinner.
Definitely one of the better bridal shows out there. We even got to meet some weddingbee fans!
pls tell me what was in the goodie bag, i am obsessed
