I came across Satya Jewelry in this month’s In Style magazine and I had to feature them because they have super cute jewelry and they’re based in New York!

Their line of yoga-inspired jewelry is a favorite among Hollywood celebs. But prices are also very reasonable - wonderful for bridesmaids gifts. (Their Sun and Moon necklace is often worn/given as a friendship necklace.)

Satya Jewelry was voted as “Best Everyday Jewelry” in New York Magazine’s recent Best of New York issue. Plus a portion of all proceeds goes towards domestic and international childrens programs. Gotta love a business with a cause!

We’ve talked about how much the size of your engagement ring matters on weddingbee before. It can be a touchy subject. Here Comes the Blog’s recent post about whether or not size matters got me thinking about the topic again so let’s do our first ever ring survey!

These were taken in the bridal suite while we were waiting for the guests to arrive. Remember the pink vintage flower pins I got? Well I pinned them on the back of their dresses and it looked so cute! I also got extra flower pins to stick on their basket.

(Bee, what can I say? Your Koosh ball was very popular that day. Josie and I took turns)

Ok let me just say, RIGHT when it was their cue to walk Josie just noticed Hannah’s pink nail polish on her fingers. So she kept trying to look at her hands and next thing you know they’re just circling each other at the bottom of the stairs. Then Hannah’s mom whispered to Hannah to grab Josie’s hand and just walk. Hannah was so good!

They were soooo cute. I hope my photographer got better photos of them.

I always regretted not taking engagement pictures. But after I saw Miss Ant’s engagement pictures with Tony Yang, I decided that I wanted to take “engagement pictures” even though Mr. Bee and I are already married.

Tony recently posted these cute pictures of Miss & Mr. Ant on his blog. He has lots of great engagement photos of different couples on there.

I really like Tony’s work and his prices are also very reasonable. The only problem? Mr. Bee and I have both put on a lot of weight since our wedding last year. I’d like to take our pictures in the fall (changing leaves and my favorite season!) so hopefully that’ll be my motivation to get back in shape!

Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney married Playboy’s 2005 Playmate of the Year, Tiffany Fallon this weekend.

Several months earlier, Rooney designed the engagement ring, picked the 35 foot yacht, and the oceanfront resort at Cabo San Lucas - then proposed down on one knee during a 4 hour sunset cruise.

Jewelboxing is a system that enables you to create professional-grade dvd and cd’s with high quality components and software specific templates. People are using it in all kinds of creative ways - portfolios, mix cd’s, photo albums, and of course weddings!!

New York couple Peter Fishman and Dara Mochson eschewed traditional paper invitations and decided to send out cd wedding invites with a compilation of jazz hits instead. At $98 for 60 cds they probably spent less than they would have on traditional invites - plus the cds must have made quite the statement!

In fact when I finally get around to ordering my photo albums , I’m going to have cds made for all my relatives in Korea that weren’t able to attend my wedding.
