Water Bottle Template

May 11th, 2006 @ 8:19 am by Mrs. Firefly

A bunch of ladies requested the template for the water bottle labels, so here it is - Water Bottle Blank.doc. All you have to do is put in your names or monogram in the box and change the colors accordingly.

Thanks! I love the water bottle idea… Thanks so much for posting it :) Did you put the water bottles in coolers? I’m just wondering if I have to buy some type of special paper because if I put the bottles in coolers (this is for a baby shower, btw not a wedding =]), I don’t want the labels to tear off, blur from the water, etc.

Thanks Miss FF! Also, what brand water bottle did you fit this sized template on?

I’m using regular paper, but I’ll just be including these bottles in the out of town gift bags. I’m not quite sure what type of paper & glue you’ll need to keep it water proof.

The labels were designed for Poland Spring .5L bottles.

This is awesome. I totally would have done water bottles for my wedding if I had this template!

Oh, One more thing … if I were to do it over again, I would delete the “gap” rows between the labels. I thought the gap rows would be useful if I made a mistake cutting, I would ruin only one label and not two, but honestly, it just creates more cutting.

I’m cutting them myself on a paper cutter that I bought, but if you want to save yourself the trouble, staples, kinko’s, etc charges “per cut” With the gap rows there are 6 cuts to make (@ $2 per cut at staples), without the gap rows, there would only be 4 cuts … ,

What type of paper did you print these on? I’m not too sure of how you get the labels to stick to the bottles.

I love this idea, I used it for my race. I put the paper in Scotch Photo Laminating sheets to keep from getting wet. A glue gun and presto chango ! What a great idea; thank you.

@Gina:

I used vellum. You can run it through your printer just like regular paper, it doesn’t tearor bleed, and is only about 25 cents per sheet.
I used gold vellum and it looked really good.

Yet another thing I would like to talk about is that in lieu of trying to match all your online degree courses on times that you complete work (since most people are tired when they get back), try to get most of your classes on the weekends and only a couple courses in weekdays, even if it means a little time off your weekend. This pays off because on the weekends, you will be a lot more rested along with concentrated in school work. Thx for the different ideas I have mastered from your blog.
