These 365 Organic brand chocolate truffles from Whole Foods were recommended by HousewifeNY. I happened to be in Union Square yesterday so I picked up 2 boxes - they’re regularly $4.99 a box but this week it was buy one get one free.

Wow are they great! I don’t know when the sale ends - it could be as soon as tomorrow… You can’t go wrong with these as a wedding favor - in fact I’m eating them before breakfast right now! 8.8 oz. is a huge box o truffles (I added the wine cork for scale).

I also picked up the Chocolove bar, chocolate bars meant to look like love letters (also available at Whole Foods). It’s larger than a Hershey bar and very rich and good. Hearts adorn the individual chocolate squares and there’s a love poem inside the wrapper. A wedding favor that comes already wrapped. $2.49 each.

I got the Chocolove bars (crystalized ginger+choc) for my hubby as a 6 month anni gift. He loved them! I definitely think they would make great wedding favors.

I’m dying to try those truffles! =) Have you ever tried to make any from scratch?

I love chocolove bars esp the cherries w/ almonds on dark chocolate (you can’t taste the cherry at all which is great!)! I wanna try the organic truffles =) I’m such a chocolate freak =P At least I wouldn’t feel too guilty eating “organic” food! Thanks!
