I’m sure you could also figure out how to print your guest names on the paper before folding them so that the names appear across the body of the crane, flower or butterfly you fold.

EDIT: Mr. Spider just called and volunteered to fold a thousand cranes for me. Awww, he has no idea what he’s signing up for. What a fool haha. He thinks he can fold 200 a night. I’m like dude, I’d like to see you try to fold 20 a night.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. 200 a night, my ass! i’ve done the 1000 cranes for ex bf’s before, and seriously, if you can do about 50 a night, that’s a miracle!! plus, i made mine 1/4 the size of the regular small ones by using tweezers. at 20, my hands were aching and my eyes were going cross eyed. ahahahha.

i was just asking my FI about the crane thing. he’s japanese and i think it’s customary for some sort of crane thing to be at the wedding. i think i’ll do a little more research on this…

My parents and sisters offered to fold paper cranes for place cards — I told them that it will be about 100 back in March — and now the number of guests seem to have increased to 150+! And more for place settings LOL!!!
