… from the wedding I attended last weekend.
Rehearsal Dinner

See the handwriting on the name cards? The groom’s aunt did that herself. What beautiful handwriting!! Also, see the stickers? Mine has a fish and a “B” - which stood for fish entree and a brownie dessert. Mr. Butterfly’s had a cow and a strawberry - which stood for steak and a strawberry banana split, I think. (I’m not a dessert fan, so I don’t notice these things.) They went with the stickers so that the waitstaff would know immediately which plate went to whom, and also I don’t think some of the waitstaff spoke English very well?
I know it’s kinda hard to see, but the couple presented the groomsmen with cufflinks as a gift. They have Mr. Butterfly’s initials on them.

Favors at the wedding

I loved the favor boxes. So simple and classic. Two pieces of chocolate were inside. I’ve blacked out the names, but it had the couple’s name on the left chocolate, and the right chocolate had an imprint of a famous artist’s design. I think edible favors are the best, because everyone eats!!

All in all, I thought the wedding was nice. We certainly had fun, and I am glad now that we are having a pretty small wedding like this one, because it was much more intimate and close-knit.
i looove the sticker idea~ it’s so cute~! i don’t even know where to begin. i want to get the venue set first.
