Nickels and Dimes and PENNIES oh my…

When I said we’re really nickel and diming this wedding, I wasn’t kidding. Every PENNY saved is like a little happy butterfly in my belly. Last night Mr. Spider came (begrudgingly) with me to Paper Presentation where I opened up my folder of printed price lists from MyGatsby.com and NotFromaBox.com and compared every last element of the invitation we want to create. Then I went home and charted my findings on an Excel spreadsheet:

Prices in BOLD are per order.
The price difference (customized) is $1.52 per invitation.
The price difference for a complete match is $0.94 per invitation.
THE CLEAR WINNER IS THE MyGatsby.com and Paper Presentation ROUTE.
NotFromaBox.com would be a one-stop-shop deal and has a more user friendly website, but offers less color options than MyGatsby.com and Paper Presentation. Either way, the invitations still require assembly and our own added touches ie. embellishments and a Chinese insert we want to include for some of our guests.
