Mrs. Ladybug's Picture
Mrs. Ladybug (formerly Miss Ladybug), New York/Philadelphia Age and Occupation: 31, Full-time blogger from 7 pm to 12 am Fiance's Age and Occupation: 31, Playing video games while I blog from 7pm to 12 am Engagement Date: August 2005 Wedding Date: April 15, 2006 Venue: Ballroom at the Ben, Philadelphia About Me: I am the 2nd of 5 girls. Yes, you read that right, 5 girls. I don't know if there's anything interesting about my wedding that I can tell you but I was proposed to twice.
About Mrs. Ladybug

I know. I’m still posting up wedding photos. That’s because I haven’t shown you everything yet. So don’t get your panties in a bunch. God, I cannot wait to go on our honeymoon at the end of this year. I do think we need a vacation now though. The negotiating for that didn’t go very well.

Mr. Ladybug: I think my honey is in need of vacation. What do you think?
Me: *sigh* I think yes.
Mr. Ladybug: Wanna go to Puerto Rico?
Me: Yes! How many vacation days will you give up?
Mr. Ladybug: 2
Me: Then how many days can we go on our honeymoon?
Mr. Ladybug: 8!
Me: No deal!
Mr. Ladybug: Why does it HAVE to be 10?!
Me: Ok hun, this is not like one of our regular vacations. This is our HONEYMOON! We should have it be 10 days and I’m thinkin that’s the minimum.
Mr. Ladybug: Ok fine.

Hahaha….yes, I do need a vacation but not if it means shortening our honeymoon time. Oh hells no! We can always have vacations but our honeymoon is a once in a lifetime trip. Don’t you think? So till then I am willing to suffer for however many months.

Moving right along…Here are some photos that we took behind the Philadelphia Art Museum.

Hi Mrs. Ladybug,

I love your pics, your dress, your makeup and your blogs. However, may I suggest omitting the B-words in your blog? You are free to express your feelings, but you use that word so loosely and I think its a little inappropriate for the site. Please don’t get me wrong, I mean no harm. Please ignore if you don’t think my comments make sense. I will continue to read this site and your blog.
Thanks.

Just my two cents:

Reading “you bitches” leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I think you are probably joking, and maybe directing this comment to a few people in particular. But in my opinion that tone seems inconsistent with the rest of the site AND your ideas and photos (which I think are beautiful and classy).

Ii understand how the “b” word may leave people feeling offended but honestly it’s just my style of writing. i write how i feel and sometime i throw in a b word or 2 and i have replaced all my “f” words with eff. hahaha…

I personally feel that I’ve been writing like this for a while now. People choose to read my entries knowing that I can have a bit of a potty mouth and a lot of women honestly don’t care but I know that there are some that do.

I will tone down on the “b” word but I’m not promising that I won’t swear at all.

i have been reading this website for awhile now and i just wanted to let you know that i don’t mind the “b” word at all. and i am saying this as a person who never curses. i enjoy your writing style. It is very entertaining and humorous. i do not find it inappropriate. why is it inappropriate? honestly, if everyone was so plain vanilla it would be really boring to read and just not real life to be so conformed and cookie cutter. the varying personalities on here is what keeps me coming back… its what makes this website so fun! so, keep up the good work mrs ladybug. i think you’re doing an awesome job…b word or no b word.

Honestly I didn’t even notice the dreaded ‘b’ word. I was too busy enjoying your photos. Looks like you had a lovely wedding filled with joy. Congratulations, and may you and Mr. Ladybug have many happy years together.

BTW, I often sign my personal notes with a little ladybug. I’ve done it since I was a little girl, so it’s nice seeing your handle on your blog. It always makes me smile.

Mrs. Ladybug,

Though you edited your post, it is still highly enjoyable. Your personality shines through your dialogue and funny sayings like “don’t get your panties in a twist” or even “hells no.”

I just wanted to point out that you can still be both entertaining and humorous without referring to readers as bitches–I’m not trying to cramp your style or force you to be “plain vanilla.”

aww mary, she wasn’t calling you or me or any of the readers a b or anything. just like panties in a bunch (not twist but thats a cute way of saying it too…) does not mean we all have wedgies…or are going to get wedgies. lol.

i heart you too mrs ladybug! my co-workers and i all think you’re hilarious and your pics are lovely. def keep posting. ya hear woman? you have a whole fan base over here. :-)

another favorite website of mine is http://www.dooce.com~ the lady who writes it is also very funny. she is much more crude if you ask me…she often jokes about nibbling off her daughter’s chubby arms because it is too cute and calls her readers ocd and crazy “b”s. when her daughter throws horrible fits, she thinks cannibalism makes sense. lol. she is joking of course! …i don’t think any of these things should be taken literally, you know? all in good fun.

i love your writing style! actually, your cursing always cracks me up. and my best friend uses the “b” word as a term of endearment. i think that’s how you mean it. please keep it up. oh, and i always say “panties in a bundle” myself.

I will echo toad’s comment, since that is exactly what I think (bravo/a toad!) and add — that last picture is hilarious. I don’t know why, and obviously I don’t know anyone in that picture, but it makes me smile. See teh smile!!1 –> :)

Mrs. Ladybug — I am one of your biggest fans! lmao, that was so gay(!!); but seriously. I love all your posts (as well as everyone else’s on WB.com :D). They’re so freaking funny! I look forward to when you update. Especially with pictures because you and your hubster are too cute :) When I get bored at work, I filter through WB to read just your entries to keep me entertained. Yikes. I sound like a stalker…. Yeah okay, I’ll admit it. I’m in love with you. Be still, my heart! haha, JK(!!!), but I love your writing style, so keep it up, bitch! hahaha, I’m just kidding, woman! ;D
