Hi Bees!

Speaking of foodnetwork.. did you know that they have a lot of helpful basic-wedding planning articles (courtesy of theknot.com) and great menu ideas?

I found that Design on a Dime show disappointing. I thought it might have some useful info or something. But really you need a carpenter/caterer and crew working for free, to get that backyard wedding you always dreamed of. It wasn’t really applicable to most brides, unless i got a personal chef and design team.

Ditto to Michele. I was disappointed too :-(. The show is misleading.. of course it can be done within $5000 when the show doesn’t take into account how much in real life that the labors (carpenter, etc), chefs, etc etc would cost, not even something like makeup artist charge. I was also expecting the show to be more “creativity/ideas focused” but instead it was more about watching how they re-build the backyard. Blah~
