You know you gotta throw in that “Ho” after saying Puerto Rico. It’s a must really.
As you know me and my hubs, we is po folks now after the wedding so we wanted to financially recover before going on our honeymoon. I really don’t recommend this. If you can afford it, go on it asap! Otherwise you will suffer…like I am. The hubby noticed that I’ve been stressed so he planned a mini vacation to hold us over till the honeymoon. Sweet huh? That’s why you’re my numero uno!
So July 12-16! I can’t wait! I love the beach! I love the sun, and the salty air, and the warm sand in between your toes, and the smell of coconuts in your tanning lotion… We really needed this. Thanks babe! I love you.
i LOVE PR!!! i wanna go there and go to vieques…..you should really go if you get the chance. just 1 night though - i hear its pretty dead after dark.

ok so far i have two people who are volunteering as stowaways. i’m sorry but you 2 bitches are gonna have to share one suitcase. MUHAHAHA!
as for hotel…we’re not sure yet. he mentioned teh water club which looks great but if you look it up on tripadvisor.com it didn’t get great feedback. i’ll keep you ladies posted. this also means bikini shopping! i’ll also post on what i find since majority of the brides go somewhere with a beach.

I highly recommend the Wyndham El Conquistador - although that’s one of the priciest ones there. It’s right by Fajardo which I think is a much cooler area than San Juan for activities.
Also if you can make it out to Flamenco Beach on Culebra Island I highly recommend it. You’ll have to stay overnight if you plan on taking the Ferry there which is only $2 but make sure you show up like 2 hours before the departure time because tickets sell like hotcakes. Otherwise, your only option for traveling is taking a small plane from Fajardo which is about $120 or so round trip per person I think.

PR is a great mix of americanism and island life - enough american that its easy to get around and communicate, and still a tropical island. Its also the cheapest and easiest for travel, no passport and such needed. If you have time, get out to Rincon or some less popoulated beaches, smell the pinapples and such.
