Brooklyn’s 2006 Renegade Craft Fair is Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18 from 11am - 6pm both days, at Williamsburg’s McCarren Park (at Bedford and N 12th St).

Adapted from a Time Out review:
Don’t let the term “craft fair” fool you. You’re more likely to see felt ipod cozies than cross-stitched kitten art at this weekend’s Renegade Craft Fair. An alternative to traditional craft bazaars, Renegade is bigger than ever with almost 200 talented vendors from all over the country. They offer an enormous variety of handmade goods and one-of-a-kind finds that can renew your enthusiasm for all things DIY. Renegade crafts are a bit more unconventional and appeal to a younger, more urban audience.
Some notable vendors include My Paper Crane, CarryBOO, Wonderland Q, Art School Dropout, Fred Flare, Johnny Cupcakes, Make Workshop, Reprodepot Fabrics, and many more! This year’s event is sponsored by The Onion, Venus Zine, Readymade, Rockpile, The L Magazine, and BUST.
Check it out! You could find some one-of-a-kind treasures for your bridesmaids (or yourself)!
