From whimsical to delicate to elegant, each of artist Shinmin Li’s cakes reflect excruciating attention to detail. Those cakes are totally beautiful. It’s interesting — as much as I like food, cake is last on my list of priorities. Mine is going to have no decoration whatsoever. Weird, huh?

Gotta give it up to the Venus de Milo meets Salvador Dali number! That’s amazing. But I have to admit the only one I could see myself cutting into and eating is the one with the pretty little cherry blossoms.
Still, any way you slice it (pun fully intended) these are incredible cakes! If they taste half as good as they look, they’d be the best cake ever.
