I’ve been a fan of Claire Pettibone’s devastatingly romantic, vintage inspired wedding gowns for quite some time. She is definitely going to be the next big thing in wedding dress design.

Claire got her start designing lingerie. She has some beautiful, feminine pieces that are perfect for your wedding night or honeymoon.

Hmmm…maybe it’s just me, but I see most of these more as extremely pretty slips and nightgowns than wedding dresses. Somehow it didn’t surprise me to discover she started in lingerie.

One thing’s for sure: you’d have to be in great shape to carry one of these off!

My daughter just got her dream Claire Pettibone dress (Juliet) at the sample sale at Klienfelds in NY. She got the $4500 dress for under $2000! Keep your dreams and check out sample sales!
