In today’s hive, Nina is still trying to find out about affordable hair extensions, kp is looking for a lace wedding gown, and r would like suggestions about gluing ribbons onto invites.

Please feel free to add your question to the hive! :)

For invites~ Use double-sided tape because glue will make the paper ripple.

For lace dress~
If you have a big budget… try amsale blue label… they have great ones…
If you’re on a more modest budget…

Hope that helps!

Marisa makes a beautiful gown with an alencon lace jacket and silk satin strapless gown underneath. Of course, I’m biased, it’s the gown I’ll wear for my wedding!:

ello there! one question here.

we are getting married in September, and i’ve got both my sisters and a friend to be my bridesmaids, the thing is, we are working on a really tight budget here, how do i let my BMs know, in a non-offensive, bond-harmful way, that i’d like them to get their own dresses. do i drop hints, send a card, or let them know verbally?

thanks in advance!

Miss Snail

this is for leisha~

re: bridesmaid dresses

my suggestion is that you can maybe ask them the price range they are comfortable in spending for a bridesmaid dress. that way you are dropping a clear hint that you are not paying for the dresses and it won’t be offensive.

traditionally, most bridesmaids-to-be, already assume that they will have to buy their own. but i feel that might be the easiest and simplest way to let them know.
