About Mrs. Spider

I definitely want tall centerpieces with big vases stuffed with SOMETHING. I was leaning towards green apples but I’m not crazy about having centerpieces that weigh 50 lbs each. Hopefully, when I actually buckle down and meet with some florists, they will give me some more ideas. In the meantime, here are some other options:

for my engagement party, the cases were stuffed with baby artichokes with roses, lemon leaves, sage, and lavendar coming out. you could see artichokes all around, but inside the vases were those green florist blocks that you use to stick flowers in (i have no idea what they’re called). it turned out beautiful.

I’ve also seen orange slices plastered to the sides of vases.. and coffee beans! There’s also colored sand and vase gems

Not to be snarky, but wouldn’t it be nice if you gave credit for these pictures if you know where they’re from? I know I’ve seen the originals of some of them in people’s knot bios. I think that tall vase with all the limes that’s sitting on pink and orange fabric is from Classy1.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw these pictures as well. The tall vase arrangement with the unique pearl numbers was from DRZWife. I have a bio on the knot and I try really hard to give credit where it’s due and I thought all of the bloggers on weddingbee gave the same respect. I’ve even given weddingbee (Miss Ladybug) credit when I used pictures of her floral initials.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw these pictures as well. The tall vase arrangement with the unique green wire numbers was from DRZWife. I have a bio on the knot and I try really hard to give credit where it’s due and I thought all of the bloggers on weddingbee gave the same respect. I’ve even given weddingbee (Miss Ladybug) credit when I used pictures of her floral initials.

Not to be snarky, but Miss Spider is not taking credit for the above pictures. If credit were due, then it should be given to the florist or decorator - not a knottie, unless said knottie is the florist/decorator.

I was a bit disappointed when I saw there was no credit given. You never know when the knottie is the brain behind it. The first and second pics are from DRZbride / DRZwife and I know she designed the numbers. If you give credit to a knottie, people can always go see who the florist or decorator is. I try to give credit where credit it due..in fact, just today I gave credit to weddingbee and blogger Miss ladybug in my bio. If I ever see something on this site and decide to make a PSA on the knot, then I always give a link to weddingbee and tell people how great the site is. Miss spider, you might have taken the pictures from someone who didn’t give credit where credit is due, but now that you know who they belong to, I hope you’ll update the entry.

ditto jennifer’s comment…and if i were the knottie, i’d be excited to have my wedding pics written about on weddingbee. since when did everyone need to be credited? when vendors showcase their work, they dont always give detailed info on weddings either. most brides are just happy to share and know that their ideas are inspirational to other brides-to-be.

some people always have to be so damn technical.
if credit is so important, you go ahead and give it. Miss Spider didn’t say they’re her ideas, she said they’re other options. hello?
some people always ruin it for others.

For citrus slices in vases, I always thought grapefruit slices would be so pretty with their orangey-pinkness. I am still toying with using them somehow. These pictures are a nice inspiration.

ooh!- thanks for the inspiration– great job on scouting these out for would be brides and curious passer-bys.

Also– in your defense, why would you NEED to give credit for these pictures?? you’re not even remotely trying to pass these off as your own! Im sorry but the internet is a free place and one does not need to “cite their resources” as if this is some case of plagarism.

I’m all about giving credit, but since these pics were just saved in my Possible Centerpieces idea folder, I couldn’t go back and locate the photos’ owners before blogging about them.

KENDRA and SKICHIK have identified two of the owners and I just figured out that the marshmallow centerpieces belong to BKtoLI on LIWeddings.com. If the remaining photos belong to you, please let me know and I’ll give credit.

I’m happy to share my findings and hope ppl continue to inspire each other. =)
