Because our wedding is outdoors on the side of a hill, we are going to need an aisle runner. Unless, of course, I decide to forego wearing the cute wedding shoes I picked out and go for a pair of Wellingtons.

I was going to rent a plain white one, but have you seen these?

I love these and it solves the problem of trying to find a runner to go with my lavender-sage-ivory theme perfectly. OMG thank you — the prices were very reasonable too!!!

Do be careful about aisle runners outside. The ones from The Original Runner Company have a good backing to them (I’ve heard), but I’ve also heard of horror stories of brides tripping on runners on grass, runners blowing away, etc. That said, those are gorgeous!
