In today’s beehive, g would like suggestions on where to buy affordable brooches, and Sara would like watch recommendations for a groom’s gift.

Please feel free to add your question to the beehive! :)

I had a question about ideas for gifts to get my groom. I was thinking of a watch. Does anyone have suggestions for good watches?

oops, not sure if I should reply here or in the original beehive chain (I’m a baaaad bee!)

http://www.HSN.com has some decent brooches at good prices. Just put in brooch into the search field and you can see all of the brooches hsn has to offer.

I ordered this one to put in the center of the sash bow, but decided to not wear it (everyone thought it looked better plain) and then, well, lost it (I was going to give it to my grandma). http://tinyurl.com/mg5fv

RJ Graziano “Grand Illusions” Crystal and Simulated Pearl Brooch - Item: 560-855 if the link doesn’t work.

I’ve also heard of girls buying brooches at http://www.whiteaisle.com

THANK YOU!!!!
I’m seriously considering the one Mrs. Firefly recommended/lost. It’s grandmother appropriate and yet, simple enough for me to pull off. Plus it’s easily affordable!
Thank you again bees.. you gals rock

I love mrspresley (knot bio featured a couple times on this site)’s recommendation for groom’s gift. She and her husband wrote each other a few words on a card to read before the ceremony. And that was their bride’s/groom’s gift to each other. You can spend lots of money in this area but really, I don’t see much more stripped earnesty and meaning than this.

how much are you looking to spend? traditionally in korean culture rolex’s are given, but i think there are so many (much more stylish) watches out there.
