Connie, one of the winners of the top weddingbee commenters prize, was kind enough to send me a box chock full of goodies from the stationery/art supply company she works at. (Full disclosure - we “know” each other because we read each other’s personal blogs.)

Connie is also 1/2 of the husband/wife team at Chou Photography based in Southern California. She included a promotional postcard with her goodies that listed “Top 10 Ways to Remain Happily Married” and I thought I’d share them with you:

1) Be concerned with being kind more than right.

2) Find something to appreciate about your partner everyday.

3) Do not complain to friends or relatives about your partner.

4) Date your partner on a weekly basis.

5) Celebrate all your important anniversaries.

6) Compliment each other twice a day.

7) Have a good sense of humor about challenges.

Communicate, communicate, and communicate.

9) Share responsibilities and acknowledge each other’s strengths.

10) Greet your partner everyday with a hug and kiss.

I think I’m pretty good about all of these except the complimenting one. Gotta work on that. Thanks Connie!
