The Miss Spider Drawing Contest has officially closed. Thanks to everyone who submitted an entry! Miss Spider herself will have the final say as to the winner, but she will definitely take your votes into consideration. The winner will receive a gift bag full of goodies including this awesome new tip kit from Paper Bride.
The rules of the contest were to create a spider character that stays within the theme of the existing bugs. Please vote for your favorite one!

i like the little black one on the very top of the last page on Number 10!! very cute… and doesn’t make me feel squirmish!
#3 most closely duplicates the look and feel of the other characters and looks quite sweet!
#4 and #13 look the most like real spiders. some of the other critters are cute, but don’t really look like spiders.. many of them look like beetles. one even looks like a crab!
i’m not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings. i submitted an entry as well that pales in comparison to the others. just trying to help select the best ones.
I vote for #10 - the Miss Spider with the daisy in her hair (?)… it then unites the bugs with the flowers 
I also like #10 3rd picture down far right.
I also voted for #10, the one with the flower (daisy?) on its head. It’s the cutest!!!!
i think 11 should be combined with the antennas from #3 to remain consistent with the rest of the weddingbee bugs.
I’m not sure if spiders have antennaes and the legs of a spider actually do come out of the part of the body where the head is and not the lower part (if we’re really trying to portray an accurate picture of a spider). hehe. Also, to be consistent, none of the other Weddingbee characters have faces, right?

The second spider of #10
i like the 4th drawing in #10 — the one where she’s holding the heart. that’s the one i voted for. #14 is a very, very close second though. and i also love in #10 the spider with the JLo hat — SO CUTE!!

I like #10, second row, right. But with a heart instead of a big spot.
#14 is sooo cute, but I think the image is too tall/high to not mess up the posts layout too much.
I voted #10 and my personal fave is the second row, right spider. The one holding the heart.
