Good afternoon everyone!

I’m slowly putting together gifts for my bridesmaids. (All six beautiful ladies!) Since they read this site I can’t say EXACTLY what I got, but I will say that I’m thinking about sticking everything I bought them in this bag:

I actually made that bag for another friend last year… I knat (knitted?) that bag out of 100% peruvian wool and then felted it afterwards to make it sturdy. Maybe I’ll make it in different color combinations for the girls. Plus I think it would be nice for them to have a nice sized purse for the wedding!

Here’s the one I made for myself that I carry around almost everyday.

I call it my peanut butter & jelly - hello kitty bag! As far as gifts for my girls, I think I have it all figured out already. Plus making six bags will probably take some time but I think it’s worth it.

thank you everyone!!!

kanipark - actually felting means that i put the bag in hot water moving it around a lot until it gets thick. there is no lining in the bag and i never needed it it’s not meant to stand up straight, it’s supposed to be a sturdy but “softer” bag.

love the bags & LOVE the hello kitty! you know that some korean stationery stores sell the hello kitty cell phone charm wearing a hanbok? great knitting job! isn’t felting so much fun? it’s like magic!
