We got a save the date about a month and a half ago, and today we received an invitation for a wedding Mr. Bee and I are attending next month in Martha’s Vineyard. It’s always fun to see what kind of invitations couples choose.

These letterpress invites carried the same bold monogram they had on their save the date postcards. They’re simple, clean, modern, and the blue text is evocative of a seaside event. Check out how big the “accept with joy” box is and how small the “decline with regret” box is.

Included with the invitation is information on the weekend’s events:

• Thursday - Casual barbecue.
• Friday - Tennis, golf, beaches, and sightseeing during the day; casual dinner and drinks in the evening.
• Saturday - Continental breakfast, tennis round robin, and a casual lunch followed by the main event - the ceremony and the reception.
• Sunday - A post wedding brunch.

Sounds like a mini destination wedding!
