My photographer Leah McCormick knows that wedding photos are my form of crack, so while I was (patiently) waiting for my proofs, she sent me these photos from a recent wedding she did for a quick fix. Sooooo different from my wedding! So cool!
Leah really has no “formula” — her photos and style really depend on the spirit of the wedding itself. I posted some of Leah’s photos before here.

where was the yellow curtain? It looks like a movie set. Very cool! I bet the bride is a graphic designer…so original. I would love to see the whole wedding.

Oh… and yes Mrs. Firefly, I actually like the fact that she really doesn’t have a “formula”. I like the idea that her pix are not “cookie cutter” pix. She’s definitely very talented and that helps ease the nervousness regarding her lack of formula. I’m glad your pix turned out so great and that you’re happy!

Hi Ladies,
I booked Leah over 2 1/2 years ago, so understandably, her rates have gone up a little since then. I believe that her packages now start at around $4000, but please email/call her to confirm if you are interested.
She is currently based in the Bay Area (she used to live in NYC when I booked her), but I know she is considering moving back to the east coast, so its worth asking no matter where your wedding is (and of course, she’ll do wedding anywhere in the world, but you’ll have to dover travel fees).

I highly recommend her, she will make you feel very comfortable, which is terribly important on your wedding day!! if any of you of other questions for me I will be happy to reply. My floral designer is a personal friend of mine so I’d love to pass along her info. And for Amy, who asked about my dress, it’s an Oscar de la renta, and I am going to be selling to it…if you’re interested!
