My feet are no stranger to heels. I notice that often the girls who look most comfortable in high, high heels are the girls who are shrimps like me. It’s like when one sense heightens at the loss of another.
Remember the shoes I picked up at the Vera Wang Sale:

Well, these bitches are almost 4 inches high. That’s about an inch higher than the heels I normally rock. I’ve been trying to wear them around the house both to break them in and to get used to the height, but it appears that I spend most of my time at home sprawled out on the couch so these heels just end up dangling off my feet over the edge of the couch.
So this weekend I bought these Guess heels on sale that are about the same height. The style is similiar to these but the pattern is different and the heel is even taller:

I’ve been wearing these heels at work now for two days and the reactions I’ve been getting are amazing. Women stop and exclaim “OMG, lord look at these shoes. Jesus, how tall are those things, WOW.” And the men? They literally do double takes.
I’ve explained my need to wear 4 inch shoes to work a million times already and people still look at me like I’m nuts or worse, like they are wondering if I moonlight as a stripper after hours. Truth be told, when I am walking down a hallway alone, I try to sashay a little, you know in case I need to sashay on my wedding day haha.
