Egglings

August 10th, 2006 @ 3:31 pm by Mrs. Grasshopper

When thinking about favors I would like to receive, I thought I would just love to get an Eggling. They are a bit pricey for individual favors, but they are freakin’ cute and unique.

I think they’d make cute little decorations, too…especially if you’re having a theme wedding. :)

I saw these not too long ago! They’re so so cute! I thought they were one of the, if not, the cutest favor I’ve seen. But yeah… they’re kind of pricey and that’s what’s stopping me from buying them :-(.

I saw these in Japan @ Epcot in Disney World, and bought one (i think it was mint…) for my English teacher, who wrote my college recommendation letter. They ARE cute, and make great gifts…but yes, they are pricey…especially in Disney World!

Can’t you just make them out of real eggs and plant herbs in them? Then you can have them sit in a portion of the cardboard carton? I sawone make them on some food blog but she dyed the eggs with natural things like onions and beets. It would be great to have them in your wedding colors! The girl poked a hole in the top and bottom with a pin, blew out the insides and used nail scissors to cut the tops off….

I got one of these in christmas gift exchange, it didn’t grow very well cause the stalk was so weak. So my little stalks kept falling over.
