Entry #1: Suzy
Store/Style: John Fluevog’s Solemates Cecily
Heel: 3 1/4″
Price: $199
My wedding shoes are John Fluevog’s Solemates Cecily in beige and white. I love them because they are unique! It has that classic romantic look with a touch of funk with a black sole and cute little heel. They fit like a glove on my feet and I can’t wait to dance the night away! Also I will be able to wear these after the wedding to work and such and how great is that? The price isn’t that bad either. For just about $200 you’re getting a high end shoe that’s comfortable and good quality. And the people at Fluevogs, (I went to the one in LA) are awesome! When my shoes arrived in the mail they put in a handwritten note and some candy :).
Truly my dream shoe!

Store/Style: Filene’s Basement, Kenneth Cole
Heel: 3 1/2″
Price: $11
Hi, weddingbee!
I found my shoes in the designer clearance rack at Filene’s Basement. They are by Kenneth Cole, and are white satin with ribbon detailing, a small rhinestone buckle and a blue leather insole. They were only $11, down from $170 (what a deal!!!)
Have a great day!

Entry #3: Jean
Store/Style: Jimmy Choo, Macy
Heel: 4 1/4″
Reasons I love my wedding shoes:
#1) They were a gift to me from my fiance on the night he proposed to me. After I said, “Yes!” he brought out a bag from the car. When I saw the bag, I was in shock. I couldn’t believe my fiance had gotten them for me. It was so special!
#2) They are gorgeous Jimmy Choos. I think Jimmy Choo shoes are elegant, yet comfortable.
#3) They are really high heels 4 1/4 ” but yet they are comfortable. They have a satin front, so the pressure of the heel doesn’t hurt the top of your feet. Also, because the front of the shoe is raised as well, the height isn’t too bad.
They are a bit pricey, but they are wonderful!!!
Thanks for looking at my entry.

Entry #4: Deborah
Store/Style: Zappos, Anne Klein Lola
Heel: 3 1/4″
Price: $82.95
Hi Hi Hi!
Here is my entry - I originally wrote a question and it got posted as an open question on 8/9 - yay! my one claim to fame :). I ordered the blue Anne Klein “Lola” to wear as my something blue, and so far they are SUPER comfortable for 3.5-in heels. But when I showed them to some people, especially my mom, blue didn’t go over so well, so I decided to order the ivory pair (shown below). They’re not as pink as in the picture…
I was really having a hard time finding pretty, satin shoes that were ivory, my dress is going to be a natural silk color, and I went to multiple department stores, including Nordstrom’s, Macy’s, DSW, even a specialty store, none had “the look” I was going for. I also contemplated spending $100’s of dollars if I couldn’t find a reasonably priced shoe but even the high-end shoes didn’t appease me. So in desperation, I looked for blue shoes and found my original “Lola” but it eventually led me to the ivory ‘Lola.” It’s hard to tell but there is a thin silver edging - which I think gives it a little oomph.
I’m keeping the blue ones, though b/c I like them so much! These are my dream shoes b/c I think they are elegant w/o being too stodgy and I can definitely wear them again. They are also very comfortable but I’m sure they’d be even more comfy with the insolia inserts!!!!
:) They really make me happy - I have them in the living room and whenever I’m home, I walk around in them :). Oh!- and they were only $82, not bad, right?
Thanks!
Debbie
