About Mrs. Grasshopper

Baked goods and ice cream. And naps, but naps have nothing to do with this post.

This weekend, a mere three weeks before my wedding when I should be consuming things like grilled vegetables and lots of water, I decided to make a trip back to Jacques Torres. We were scouting wedding photography locations, and happened to find ourselves in the Dumbo area. You cannot visit Dumbo and not visit Jacques!

I had read about Jacque’s chipwiches somewhere recently so I decided to try one out. It was incredible. If I could find some way to keep these guys cold in a desirable displaying manner (meaning not in my parents green coleman’s camping cooler from 1978), I would make these the dessert of our wedding in a second.

These chipwiches have everything going for them. They are cold, delicious, individual packaged, unusual for a wedding treat and seriously the best dessert I have had all year.

I was wandering around my work area today (new job) and there is a Jacque Torres chocolate shop on Water Street. I was amazed at all the chocolate. I was in chocolate heaven! but I didn’t see the chipwiches. I think that will be my weekly visit tho. =D
