Remember that rock version of Canon in D we posted awhile back? After 7 million people viewed the video, it became a cultural phenomenon. On August 11th, the New York Times did a story on the prodigy behind the piece after the artist’s mother wrote a letter to the Times revealing the identity of the mystery rocker - it was her son, a 12 year old boy!

But not so fast, a couple of days later the New York Times discovered the real artist behind the song - a 22 year old Korean man - based on his signature fingerwork. His rendition of the popular wedding processional song has become such a hit, you just might be hearing it in a lot of weddings from now on.
