I was those also. Isn’t it wild? I love it! I’m going to take a stab at making these badboys for my wedding also. Since I have 1 whole year to make them. :)

Does anyone know if there are instructions online for making these? They are absolutely awesome and we’ve been looking for a similar project for our wedding (also a year away).

AHHH! I’m SO excited! I’ve been thinking about making something like this too for my wedding! I saw these “flower ball lanterns” sold at this boutique. And I thought how awesome it would be for wedding decor.. you get the best of both worlds.. flower balls & lanterns! But the ones I saw at the store are kind of small. So I’ve been thinking about making these myself, except I was thinking gluing silk flowers to the lanterns. Thanks for sharing this!

i’m still thinking about where i could hang this boogers.

but yeah, silk flowers are def. a good way to go cuz the DIY paper flowers look like a TON of work.

Miss Spider — you could hang them along the aisle at your ceremony instead of pew bows or whatever else one hangs alongside one’s aisle.

What are they used for? Just decoration? And if so, where? They are gorgeous!

um, i wanna know what it costs to make these. the kits at paper-source aren’t cheap. i’d do this if it would save me $$ on bouquets….

Thanks for your enthusiasm! I’m going to post images of them hanging at the wedding soon.
Also, one kit from Paper Source is really all you need. Once you’ve got the basic idea of how the flowers get put together, you just have to get lots of cheap paper.
