Chocolate by the Bald Man

September 2nd, 2006 @ 9:33 pm by Mrs. Bee

Mr. Bee and I were in Union Square today, and happened to walk by the new Max Brenner’s Chocolate By The Bald Man store/restaurant. It’s a veritable Willy Wonka factory come to life - chocolate waffles, chocolate pizza, chocolate fondue, chocolate pastries, smores, hot chocolate, and of course good old regular chocolate.

I purchased four of the chocolates - they looked remarkably similar to Jacque Torres’ chocolates.

I really liked them and thought they tasted very similar to Jacque’s chocolates. Of course I’m no connoisseur, as I don’t really like chocolate (the horror! shocked.gif). But they had several different options that’d work as nice wedding favors, and it seemed like a fun place to have a date or get together with your girlfriends.

Have you been to Max Brenner’s Chocolate by the Bald Man yet? What did you think?
