I was rather disappointed in that nontraditional dresses article—maybe I was just looking for a sideshow or something, but I was hoping for pictures or descriptions of ugly monstrosities–”what were they thinking?!” type things. Not just “OMG you’re so rebellious ’cause you shoes are SILVER”. Not that there’s anything wrong w/ that (I’m hoping to have blue shoes, myself), but I wouldn’t quite call it nontraditional.

I’ve heard that the questionnaire that they send to you to fill out has a lot of really bad questions that totally shows that they are just trying to get some kind of drama brewing.
“Who doesn’t approve of your engagement/marriage in his and your family” Yikes.
I totally agree about the curse.

To all the 18-21?!?! comments… love doesn’t have age requirements. I’m 19 & getting married on November 18th (two days before my 20th birthday). We’ve been engaged for 17 months & together for almost 5 years (in October). I am used to hearing the “you’re too young” speech, but it still bothers me (even after hearing it for over a year now). I personally don’t take marriage lightly. Divorce is not an option to me or my fiance. Both of our parents are still married after 21 & 20 years. I know that I am making one of the biggest decisions in my life; but I also know that it will be one of the BEST decisions I’ve ever made. Just wanted to put my two cents in.
