Wedding Blog

I am off from work this week so that I can get the final last minute plans finished without stressing out before the wedding. However, sprinkled in between my wedding errands, I have a list of things I would LOVE to get done before the wedding. I cannot admit these additional errands to Mr. Grasshopper though, because he is all about getting the necessary stuff done. He’s so annoyingly efficient (which is why we always get things done).

My open list looks like this:

- bring the dog to the park
- name the tables accordingly so that I can pass the seating chart off to the favor/seating card people
- get a facial
- finish the photo project/table signs
- clean the apt.
- order food for our getting ready locations
- pick out songs for special dances (yes, we still have no idea)
- complete schedules for dj, photographer, wedding day quarterback
- confirm and update transportation plan

My personal list looks more like this:

- bring the dog to the park

- buy some sort of window treatment for the bedroom
- do some clothes shopping for the honeymoon
- finish the photo project/table signs
- paint the living room wall
- clean the apt.
- buy a lamp for living room
- order food for our getting ready locations
- pick out songs for special dances (yes, we still have no idea)
- complete schedules for dj, photographer, wedding day quarterback
- confirm and update transportation plan

I have always been like this. When I have a shared goal with someone, my list always includes six other major ideas that would make the final result so much better. I might not get my personal list finished, but I am going to try damn hard to get the living room wall painted by Friday.
