About Mrs. Lily

Oooh, Aaah, Pretty Flowers!

September 5th, 2006 @ 12:29 pm by Mrs. Lily

Here’s another pic from the wedding I just attended. Thought it might be useful for all you blue and purple brides out there. The photo doesn’t do the centerpiece justice– it was just stunning.

Also, an open question for all of you. I loved loved loved the little, green juice glasses with the gold rim (and tiny flowers that you can’t see in the pic) that held kerosene votives. I’d like to maybe use something like this on my tables, but I don’t know what they are called or where to get them (of course, they would have to be on the cheap side since I would need like 40 of them at least). Anyone know?

They might be Moroccan or Turkish tea glasses.

I think they are close to the Moroccan glasses Mrs. Bee linked too, although they were more like juice glasses… (bigger than votives and thinner glass). I like the ones Mrs. Bee linked to though too!

in case you are still looking… Cudge has colored votive holders, only they don’t have a gold rim.

Ah yes the Moroccan glasses. I have a few at home.. bought them at this boutique I worked at few years ago. Just love them! I want to use those too for my wedding but don’t know if I can fit them into my budget.
