My best friend and maid of honor just got engaged last night! I’m so excited for her and just wanted to share. 
Are you guys like me where you really get just about as excited when someone ELSE gets engaged? I’ve been bouncing off the walls all day and telling random coworkers who have never met her “my best friend just got engaged!” And now, look at me, telling the internet at large about it. Just can’t help it! Yay Maid O’ Bluebell! Congratulations!!! 
Congrats!! I was so damn excited when my best friends got engaged that I almost cried tears of joy when I heard the news! And I was more obsessed with planning their weddings than they themselves were haaaa haaa.
My best friend got engaged when we were 22. She told me when we were out at dinner and I started bawling. The waitress asked if everything was ok and I’m crying saying “She’s getting married! She’s getting married!” She was my first friend to become engaged and the enormity of this huge change in her life just overwhelmed me. It was a mix of happy tears and sad tears that we were truly growing up.
i get really excited too! before my friend got engaged, her (now) fiance told me all about how he was planning to propose while I was at work. well… i got super excited, ran down to my car to grab something, then made a quick phone call to scream about it to my fiance, and realized that in my excitement, i had locked the keys in my car with the car runnning! yoinks!
