Centerpiece Ideas

September 7th, 2006 @ 4:34 pm by Miss Sunflower

I’m still on the look-out for centerpiece ideas. I did find these the other day:

I LOVE the tall candle holder. If I could find a place that sells them or a way to make them, I’d be all over that in a heartbeat. I think this calls for more web hunting!

I think it might be an easy DIY. It looks like it’s just a standard tall glass candleholder or vase that someone covered with gauzy, embroidered/printed cloth. I could be wrong, but I’d be willing to try it for such a gorgeous centerpiece. It must be absolutely stunning with the candle lit!

This can be completed with sheer decorative fabric hot glue’ed onto tall vases. I’m planning on a DIY project similiar to this instead the vases will be wrapped w/ sheer fabric and tied wrapped in place with a ribbon. It’ll have a flowery effect with some fabric overflowing (outward) from the ribbon. There’s going to be one per table with petals around. (Asian banquet, so less is more when it comes to stuff on the dinner table.)

I need centerpiece suggestions, too! I am getting married in December in Colorado and originally I was slated to have 24″ rings of evergreen and berries and candles on my tables. I have grown to dislike this idea: 1.) Due to the ridiculous price and 2.)It just isn’t very original…
Does anyone have any thoughts or help? I don’t want it to look like a christmas party but I am not doing the stark white and silver thing either.
I am in full on lessthan90daystogo(!)-wedding panic now!
Especially since I am planning form Philly and NYC!
Any help!
