Hello Weddingbee! I recently got married on August 19, and still check out the website every day! I love reading about other brides and their stories and plans. Here is my entry for the Most Romantic contest:

When my husband Alex and I started dating seven years ago, we shared our first kiss in a gazebo on our college campus. It became one of our favorite spots to spend time together, but then during the next school year, the college decided to tear the gazebo down to make way for construction on a new dorm. When Alex found out, he quickly broke off a piece of wood from the gazebo, and framed it for me. Underneath that fragment he wrote, and I quote his exact words, “When I first met you: 8-17-99. When I fell in love with you: 8-19-99. When I first kissed you: 8-29-99. When I’ll stop loving you: Never. You are the only one who I want to spend my life with, now and for
always. I love you.”

Alex has always been incredibly sweet, even after all these years together, and that was definitely one of the most romantic things he’s ever done for me! Oh, and as a side note, we got married in a gazebo, too!
