I received an email from my wedding planner Francesca. She set up appointments for us with the DJ and photographer that we want. The other three vendors we were considering don’t offer appointments when Mr. Sunflower is off from work, and I won’t go to this type of meeting without him. He trusts me completely, but this is a HUGE investment and I want him to be there. He can smell B.S. whereas sometimes, I’m too gullible. So, at this point, let’s hope their offers are reasonable and call it a day.
yeah… i think guys have more of the b.s. sensor that us girls… esp. when it comes to weddings… the hubbs came with me to every vendor meeting… and he got deals on every single one of them… i wouldn’t have even negotiated…
Pay special attention to the photographers wedding albums. How does their pictures make you feel? Could you feel the emotions in their pics? Do you really need 25 pics of you and him under your veil? Ask TONS of questions!! Your bridal instincts will come forth. And the d.j….. music is music to me. I think the bride and groom are so busy that they really dont hear it. Unless of course its the first dance. Just make sure you give them your Do Not Play list.

I would first like to say, that I have been reading this website for quite some time now and even have included some links and quotes back to your website, especailly if it was of value to my potential customers. I would like to give an opinion froma DJs point of view. I always encourage my brides to meet with me and bring their fiance or another family member, especailly the poeple doing the desicion-making so that they can see the value that I might bring to their wedding reception. I think both comments above make two great points.
