Reader Email: Veil Rave

September 14th, 2006 @ 11:28 am by Mrs. Bee

Hi Bees!

After searching a couple websites in beliefs that $300 for a veil was insane, I stumbled across a website called Occansey Designs. I was able to contact the owner via email and within 10 minutes(!!!) I received a response to ease my fears that might be assumed with buying a low cost veil over the internet.

I ordered my veil on Wednesday (9/6) and received it Monday (9/11) via USPS, opting for standard shipping. The more features you add, i.e. upgraded cuts, trim, comb etc., may take a couple more days due to the hand-craftsmanship of it.

This website offers many pictures and descriptions to help with your decision, all down to the custom veil chosen step-by-step by you. And they have a clearance section with photos. The cost of my fingertip cascading veil- $25.00! And shipping was only like 3 bucks! After trying on so many veils at so many prices, to wear it for 8 hours (if that), I’d take a $30 veil any day. In fact, I think I’ll wear it more around the house than anything! :)

Hope this helps with your future veil purchases.

I just ordered my veil thanks to this post. I was going to make it myself, but with 3 weeks to go and hearing about the great price and fast shipping this was a much less stressful option. Thanks!

I got my veil: two layers, fingertip length, with a 1 inch ribbon edge - one Ebay for $10 plus shipping: brand new. The seller had very high feedback so I was pretty confident it would be fine:) I also got a goregous tiara, earrings and a necklace from them - for a total of less then $60 including shipping!
