Limos:

We have a wedding party of 5 guys and 5 girls, plus our parents (4 total) and us. Most of our wedding party individuals also have dates. Something we’re having a hard time figuring out is, 1) who goes in the limo 2) how to work out driving arrangements for those not in the limo 3) Who goes in the limo prior to the wedding ceremony 4) what about the dates?!

Thanks!!!

Outdoor weddings:

How does the bride do her entrance? (In a public park, no really good “hiding” places). Also, what is the scoop on aisle runners? I have heard of people who loved them, and people who had them blow all over the place. Any other advice on outdoor weddings would be good, too! We are doing the reception indoors, so that eliminates some things (like the need for a tent.)

How do you deal with a vendor that completely disagrees with your ideas? Don’t they understand that it’s your ideas for your wedding day? sheesh

What is the best online wedding program? I know there “the knot” has an online guest list manager, there’s also “wedding tracker”. I’d like something web based, so my mom and I can both use it.
Thanks

How have different people worked with wedding planners? I really want to be involved in the key decisions in my wedding, but I just seem to be too busy to have the time to get things rolling. I’ve been engaged for almost four months, and am getting married in almost exactly a year. So far, we’ve got the venue down and are totally stalled. Any suggestions for a way to get help from others while still keeping control and a personal touch?

Never mind my question. I just found out that they are doing construction across the street from our park on our wedding day. So I guess this means I’ll have to start over!

I am looking for clear, monogramed, dated tags for wedding favors. Where could I find these?

Should you ever book a hair/makeup artist without first having a trial? There are some artists I see in Knottie bios and the like whose work is amazing. However, they don’t book trials until a few months before the wedding. Is it worth it to put down the non-refundable deposit without a trial first?

Has anyone used the new service for making your own stamps for their wedding? Or is that just too cheesey?

Like Tea, can you recommend more info on pae baek? I’m not Korean so I don’t know where to look for the traditional Korean wedding dress. Do I wear a green wonsam and an elaborate flower robe, underneath wear the hanbok and a black, gem-studded cap on my head? I’m confused =P

can you recommend a reputable nyc seamstress who custom-makes dresses? i’m having the worst time trying to find an affordable strapless/trumpet/memaid-style/with-no-embelishment dress for under 2k.

Are in-house vendors typically more or less expensive than outside vendors? I was thinking of using my venue’s in-house florist since but I was told by someone else that the venue will need to take a cut from the in-house florist, therefore making it more expensive. Now I’m confused. I’d appreciate any advise so I can decide on the florist and DJ.
