How we took the picture with all of us in it: 4 cameras on stools set to auto timer.

I met Miss Daisy, Miss Lily, and Miss Bluebell for the first time yesterday. Miss Daisy is one of the funniest, most open people you’ll ever meet. Miss Lily is tiny (contrary to the picture), soft-spoken, and looks incredibly young! Miss Bluebell is also softspoken, tall (compared to the rest of us since we’re all on the more petite side ;)) and fittingly has lovely blue eyes.
It’s interesting when you meet someone whose blog you read daily, because they always look a little different than you expect. Mrs. Ladybug for instance has a huge blog personality so you expect her to be tall, but when you meet her in person she’s really tiny. And when I arrived early to Miss Daisy’s house to set up, the first thing we said to each other was that we’re both shorter than we’d thought (it’s the most common thing people say when they meet me - I’m only 5′ 2″!).
Anyway, it was a great get together - we hung out past midnight chatting away. Miss Lily and Miss Bluebell even discovered that they knew each other. Miss Daisy and Miss Butterfly had met shopping at Barneys when they dicussed the tux Mr. Butterfly was buying. They didn’t know they were both weddingbees until they saw pictures of each other on weddingbee. Yes it really is a small world after all.
We missed the bees who couldn’t make it, but there will definitely be more get togethers to come. ![]()
