This past weekend, I went to D Wedding’s (one of my favorite bridal magazines) sponsored event, Haute Weddings - I completely forgot to bring my camera but there was so many great things to see there!

It was held at the Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas. There were cake tastings, hors d’oeuvre tastings (ceviche, seared ahi, cocktail shrimp, lobster shooters, etc), a dessert bar, a candy bar, chocolate fountains, the champagne and wine were flowing! I couldn’t stop eating!

We also got goody bags with cake-shaped cookies and lots of coupons/discounts for wedding related expenses.

There were gorgeous tablescapes by various floral, linen, lighting, and event rental companies. This particular one is by:

Anyways, I am going down to Austin this weekend with my parents and the owners of the company for a weekend of football, eating, and R&R. We’re staying at the Barton Creek Resort & Spa. If that sounds familiar, that’s because it is the place where Nick & Jessica had their wedding reception!

Also, where this lovely couple, Anne & Cord, who were featured in The Knot Texas Edition Magazine last year.
